My MISSION is simple. From facing years of my own peaks and valleys in the world of health and wellness (not to mention this thing we call life), I have learned a LOT about myself - my faith, my philosophy, my values, and my purpose. Not to mention more than anyone should probably ever know about nutrition, fitness, and general health :)
My health and fitness background consists of:
Years of football and rugby.
Going from 150 pounds to 235 pounds for football, back down to (a far too lean) 173 pounds because of my insecurities, and finally back up to a healthy, strong, 190.
Years of a binge eating disorder, severe body dysmorphia, and anxiety.
Overcoming an exercise addiction in college that drove me to the worst health of my life.
Without getting too into the weeds, I believe that God put me on this planet to use my passions and my abundance of knowledge surrounding health, wellness, nutrition, and fitness, to help others reach their unique, fullest potential in life.
To help others become the best spouse, friend, parent, child, sibling, employee, (fill in the blank), that we are each capable of - and my vehicle for this Mission is nutrition, health, and lifestyle coaching.
